In anticipation of the Tour of Flanders this Easter and ahead of Sir Bradley Wiggins, Zdeněk Štybar and Alexander Kristoff (among others) racing through the Flemish farmlands; Podia decided to go in search of its own local Ronde.
North of Kraków we found just what we were hoping for. Remote, narrow lanes; asphalt, gravel and cobbles as well as impressive views of rural landscapes.
The day can be started in Pieskowa Skała or Ojców. The 95km route is quite demanding but can also be ridden by less experienced cyclists. We recommend plenty of spares and food supplies as there is very little along the way.
Finally, in the spirit of Flanders we included two loops en route, but the lanes and their layout offer plenty more options for similar rondes.
