This is the Eros, a titanium road bike from Denver based frame makers, Alchemy.

Podia has long debated the notion of painting a titanium frame, but when we see examples like this there is no need to debate it. The subtle use of the breaks in paint showing the naked metal are quite special and hint at what lies beneath.

This particular model has been built up with Campag Super Record groupset with a Rotor crankset and ee cycleworks brakes. Alchemy are one of ENVE’s biggest clients, so it stands to reason that all other finishing kit is by them. This includes the ENVE aero road bar developed with SMART systems, just like the wheelset.

Alchemy are doing some very interesting things in the field of custom bikes. While their round carbon tubes are sourced from ENVE, all other non-regular shapes are made by themselves in the US. This enables them to tailor the ride qualities to each individual build.

Thanks to Cody from Alchemy for letting us steal the Eros from the Eurobike floor to shoot this gallery. We will be posting more from Eurobike later this week.
