It is the season for new additions at Podia. We have introduced four new jersey designs that both revisit our design foundations and push original ideas further with the help of Marco Ammannati. A new limited 'guest colour' makes it's way into the collection along with a new Woman's Club Jersey.
Lightweight Protection is a moniker that has led the creation of our new wind and rain vest and micro-thermal colour matching arm warmers that both protect and pack into tiny packages.
Los Cerrillos in New Mexico, USA is the source of arguably the richest supply of the precious stone called Turquoise. With a rich blue and hints of green, it is a colour that forms the basis of a limited number of pieces in the 2017 Podia collection.
Featuring in the Nova jersey and vest as well as the Marco Ammannati designed Peacocking Jersey the guest colour in Podia collection 2017 is a Cerrillos Blue.
The Woman's Club jersey takes it's design cues from the classic Podia Club Jersey but utilising the new Cerrillos Blue. Building on the developments from the men’s jersey and with all the same features it went through transformation to deliver bright, fitted and comfortable female jersey.
Choosing the right clothing for rides in changing conditions is one of the hardest parts of preparing for a ride. That is why we have developed a range of garments based on the idea of offering protection from the elements in lightweight and easily packable forms.
The first piece is a vest that shields key parts of the body from wind and rain, but also packs up neatly into it's own stuff pocket. It allows to be easily stowed away ready for use when the weather changes or at the start and end of a ride.
