To coincide with the launch of the new Podia website, we wanted something special for the first blog article. What could be more special than a small company from the UK who make extraordinary steel frames.
At the inaugural Podia Roadventures there was quite a nice collection of bikes. We took some time to shoot few of them for the machines gallery including this steel beauty by Standert, the gents from Berlin.
On June 22nd of this year a group of like-minded cyclists gathered in the Polish city of Kraków. They wouldn’t stay their long as their final destination was further south in the Tatra Mountains where they would spend five days exploring the Polish/Slovakian borderlands.
The mountain seems no more a soulless thing, But rather as a shape of ancient fear, In darkness and the winds of Chaos born Amid the lordless heavens’ thundering A Presence crouched, enormous and austere, Before whose feet the mighty waters mourn.
