Adventure and exploration runs through the veins of Podia. From the early beginnings as a road cycling blog; Podia was created as a means to discover and share the best custom bikes as well as the most interesting places to ride them. Cycling destinations that nobody else knew about; unspoilt by traffic and hordes of cyclists.
Inviting people to come and explore amazing places to cycle in ‘Hidden Europe’ was the natural evolution and each season the calendar and destination list expands.
Roadventures are fun, social rides with a chance to meet new people with the same interests. They are not only about performance, but the joys of adventure and exploration.
Fully planned routes with support vehicle, mechanic and crew who look after you from the moment of your arrival to your departure. Unique accommodation such as an 18th century log cabin or a hotel located next to an Alpine Lake in the High Tatra Mountains.
More than cycling…
Riding is everything, but at the same time riding isn’t everything. Experiencing the local culture is one of the biggest reasons to travel to new destinations. On each trip we ensure that even time off the bike is spent well. This may mean a unique mountain restaurant or a visit to a cheese maker or local brewery.
“The experience turned out to be much more than just beautiful roads and spectacular scenery, I also got to meet and ride with a group of exceptional cycling enthusiasts from all over Europe.”
Eric, Hong Kong
A little bit of help
On a Podia Roadventure every detail is taken care of, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, we make sure that all you have to do is focus on riding and exploring somewhere new.
The Podia crew looks after your bike and your well being before and after the ride. A trained mechanic helps to prepare the bikes as well as is able to service them when needed after the ride. He is also available in a support vehicle during the riding days.
Support vehicle carries nutrition snacks as well as water and performance drinks. This is also a place where you can keep you spare pieces of clothing, so you do not need to worry of extra baggage when riding. Our van waits for the group at key parts of the daily route and can be called whenever is needed.
“Lost roads surrounded by beautiful landscapes, crossing picturesque villages with long, curved climbs!”
An unforgettable experience
